Video Trim
Video Trim is a powerful, privacy-first video processing app for iOS. All video processing is done entirely on your device — your videos never leave your phone.
On any tool screen, tap "Select from Photos" to choose a video from your Photo Library, or tap "Select from Files" to browse files on your device or iCloud Drive.
Processed videos are saved to the app's local storage and appear in the History tab. From there, you can share them or save them to your Photo Library (Pro feature).
If your video is already highly compressed (e.g., already in a modern format like H.265/HEVC), further compression may not reduce the file size significantly. Try a more aggressive compression preset or a different output format.
Go to the History tab, find your processed video, and tap the "Save to Photos" button. This feature requires a Pro subscription. Make sure Video Trim has permission to access your Photo Library (you can check this in Settings > Privacy > Photos).
Video Trim supports MP4, MOV, M4V, and 3GP formats for both input and output. You can convert between any of these formats using the Video Converter tool.
Yes! All video processing features work completely offline. An internet connection is only needed for in-app purchases (subscriptions) and accessing support links.
No. Video Trim processes all videos entirely on your device using Apple's AVFoundation framework. Your videos are never uploaded to any server or third-party service.
Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases". This will check the App Store for any previous purchases associated with your Apple ID and restore your Pro access.
Video Trim offers three subscription options: Weekly (with 3-day free trial), Monthly (with 7-day free trial), and Lifetime (one-time purchase). Pro unlocks sharing, saving to Photos, and full history access.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: Open the Settings app > tap your name > Subscriptions > select Video Trim > Cancel Subscription.
These features are coming soon! We're actively working on adding Live Photo to Video conversion and Thumbnail generation in a future update.
